This is a penjing or landscape with a mame Jade bonsai placed in a structure of natural island layered rocks in an oval ceramic tray. A good grip of roots on rocks gives an integral look.

Location:
Jade bonsai grows best outdoors in a bright location with full sunlight. It can also be kept indoors for short periods, such as for decoration or gifting, but should receive sunlight regularly for healthy growth.

Watering:
Jade is a succulent plant that stores water in its leaves, so it requires less frequent watering. Water the plant when the soil feels dry to the touch. When placed outdoors in warm weather, light watering once a day or every alternate day is usually sufficient.

Pruning:
Regular pruning helps maintain the shape and structure of the bonsai. Trim excess growth to encourage branching. Heavy pruning is best done during summer, when the plant is actively growing.

Repotting:
Repot the jade bonsai every 1–2 years or when the roots fill the pot completely. A well-draining bonsai mix made of sand, soil, lava granules, coco husk, and bio compost is ideal for healthy root development.

Fertilizing:
Jade is a fast-growing bonsai with delicate roots and branches. Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer such as NPK 19:19:19 or 20:20:20 every 15 days during the growing season for best results.
